I was tasked with the creation of the planet asset which was used for a variety of shots.

It makes me shudder to see the late Ray Stevenson, who delivered a touching performance in Ahsoka, in many of the shots I helped create.
Another environment I created for Ahsoka at ILM is the planet SEATOS. It is the second planet asset I created for the show and it was later used by another VFX studio for final shot work (to whom it may concern: awesome work, thank you!). The planet sets the background for various establishing shots and action loaded space battle sequences. All leading to the epic flight of the so called "Purrgils" (space whales) towards another galaxy.
Next to the planet itself, I also designed a red tree forest which was used as the background for the filming on the virtual production set aka. ILM's Stagecraft. The foliage was later used in turn to create the red forest on SEATOS in a variety of settings in post production by ILM and other studios. Shout out to Environment Supervisor Falk Boje and Sr. Generalist Steffen Hampel for all their great work.
